The new single

Next
to Me

A revolving relationship. A connection that refuses to stay buried. And a child caught in the gravity between two people who can never quite let go.

Chris Garner folds pop-punk urgency, metalcore weight, hip-hop cadence, and nu-metal tension into one deeply personal track.

From Tuscumbia. Built in the Shoals.

Heavy music.
Open doors.

Chris Garner is a solo artist powered by collaboration—a voice at the center of a studio backing band that shapes every project together.

Originally from Tuscumbia and now rooted in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the sound moves freely between pop-punk hooks, metalcore force, hip-hop rhythm, and the raw edges of nu metal. No lanes. No apologies. Just honest songs built to hit hard and stay with you.

“This is how I release emotions.”

The mission is bigger than volume. Chris makes music to turn real experience into connection—and to leave as much positivity behind as possible. The same mindset carries beyond the studio: lead with integrity, invest in people, and choose lasting impact over temporary recognition.

Behind the records is an ongoing creative partnership with producer Jeff Parker at Ember & Oak Studios—the North Alabama studio where Chris’s music is recorded, produced, and shaped into finished releases.

01

The beginning

One computer mic. Free Audacity. Nineteen years old.

Humble tools, limitless ambition, and the first mixtape that started everything.

02

The setback

Studio time paid one shift—and one handful of tips—at a time.

When the unfinished album files were deleted, Chris turned the loss into fuel instead of an ending.

03

The breakthrough

“Don’t Let Me Drown” reached No. 7 on a radio Top 10.

A first taste of proof that an independent voice could compete on a larger stage.

04

The process

Melody first. Chorus next. Build everything around the feeling.

Emotion leads the structure—not a genre formula or a trend.
